The Radiation Protection & Nuclear Science Group (RPNSG) is the national regulatory authority for radiation protection in Singapore.

RPNSG administers the Radiation Protection Act 2007 and its subsidiary Regulations through a system of licensing, notification, authorisation, inspection, and enforcement on irradiating apparatus and radioactive materials.
The Asia-Oceania Federation of Organizations for Medical Physics (AFOMP) was founded in 2000 to promote medical physics in the Asia and Oceania regions, through the advancement in status and standard of practice of the medical physics profession. It is one of the regional groups affiliated with the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP). The national Medical Physics Professional Organizations of Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, People's Republic of China, Philippines, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam are affiliated to AFOMP as National Member Organizations (NMO)s.
The mission of American Association of Physicist in Medicine (AAPM) is advancing medicine through excellence in the science, education and professional practice of medical physics; a broad-based scientific and professional discipline which encompasses physical principles with applications in biology and medicine.

These publications provide the fundamental principles, requirements and recommendations to ensure nuclear safety. They serve as a global reference for protecting people and the environment and contribute to a harmonized high level of safety worldwide.
The resources aim to help all new and existing healthcare service providers obtain their licence(s) under the Healthcare Services Act (HCSA) in Singapore.
The founding member countries of SEAFOMP were Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. Two other ASEAN countries joined SEAFOMP later in 2002 (Brunei) and 2005 (Vietnam).
SEAFOMP was established with the primary aim of helping to raise the profile of medical physics, via education and training, in ASEAN. The objectives of SEAFOMP are to promote (i) cooperation and communication between medical physics organizations in the region; (ii) medical physics and related activities in the region; (iii) the advancement in status and standard of practice of the medical physics profession; (iv) to organize and/or sponsor international and regional conferences, meetings or courses; (v) to collaborate or affiliate with other scientific organizations.

SEAFOMP has organised a series of congresses to promote scientific exchange and mutual support among its members. The South East Asian Congress for Medical Physics (SEACOMP) series were held respectively in Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur, 2001 and 2004), Thailand (Bangkok, 2003; Chiang Mai, 2009), Indonesia (Jakarta, 2006; Bandung, 2010), The Philippines (Manila, 2007; Manila & Bohol, 2011) and Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City, 2008).

These publications provide information in the areas of: radiation medicine, including diagnostic radiology, diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine, and radiation therapy; dosimetry and medical radiation physics; and stable isotope techniques and other nuclear applications in nutrition.
The International Organisation for Medical Physics (IOMP) represents over 27,000 medical physicists worldwide and 87 adhering national member organisations plus 2 affiliate organisations. The mission of IOMP is to advance medical physics practice worldwide by disseminating scientific and technical information, fostering the educational and professional development of medical physicists, and promoting the highest quality medical services for patients.
